This performance at Barking Legs Theater invites you to remember differently—to look beyond Pleasant Garden Cemetery as a final resting place and recognize it as a living record of Black Chattanooga history.
Dive into 12 captivating performance monologues that bring history and stories to life on stage, carrying the voices of Pleasant Garden into the heart of Chattanooga's creative community.
Through storytelling, performance, and remembrance, Chattanooga legends will have the opportunity to speak again—sharing stories shaped by love, perseverance, sacrifice, faith, community, and an unwavering commitment to a place they called home.
