Ready to start learning silversmithing but not sure what you should know at the jewelry bench first?Join us at Tucson Jewelry School for Bench Basics, a hands-on class focused on the fundamental safety and fabrication skills that can help you begin your silversmithing adventure with a stronger foundation.
Rather than jumping straight into a specific finished project, this class is about getting oriented to the bench and developing foundational skills that support the jewelry projects you may want to tackle next.
Bench Basics is Skill Level: Beginner and is designed for students starting their silversmithing journey.
Your instructor, Kim St. Jean, is Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist and has more than 25 years of experience teaching jewelry making. She’ll guide you as you practice fundamental bench safety and fabrication skills in the studio.
