Join Our Bellringing Workshop!
Come learn the ropes at our fun and hands-on Bellringing Workshop. This is an in-person event where you’ll get to try ringing the bells yourself and find out about bellringing techniques and skills from experienced ringers. Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about this unique art. Don’t miss out on a chance to make some joyful noise!
Suitable for 12 years+
Dorstone Church has six bells. The oldest dates from around 1350. Three more bells were cast in the seventeenth century, with a further two late Victorian bells gifted from Richmond Church in North Yorkshire in 2018. This completes our ring of six bells.
The recent restoration of the bells took two years and now the sound of the bells can ring out across The Golden Valley!
