About this Event
Embark on a musical voyage through the beauty, mystery, and wonder of the cosmos! This sci-fi-inspired program blends beloved orchestral masterpieces, including Holst’s Jupiter from The Planetsand Mozart’s Symphony No. 41, with the world premieres of two exciting new compositions.
Celebrate 60 years of Star Trek with Christopher Caliendo’s Symphony of the Stars, written in honor of the iconic series, alongside Lunar Celeste, an original work by BSO flautist Lindsey Wilcox. In a special feature of the evening, both composers will take the podium to conduct their own world premieres.
Join us for an unforgettable journey where the grandeur of the symphony meets the limitless possibilities of space!
