A funny, moving, real-life father-daughter journey of growing up Brooklyn with music, memories, and the moments that make us who we are.
About this Event

A special performance of the acclaimed show BEING SOMEBODY, featuring 90-year-old psychologist Dr. Howard Mase and his daughter, performer/recording artist, Marla Mase.

Through music, movement, and intimate storytelling, they invite audiences back in time—from Brooklyn in the post-war glow of the 1940s to the disco grit of the 1970s—sharing hilarious childhood misadventures, tender family memories, and the unforgettable moments that shape who we become.

Nostalgic, deeply human, and inspiring, BEING SOMEBODY reminds us it is never too late to grow, to dream, or to begin again.

Note: Show is 2 hrs (including a 15 min intermission) with a talk back afterwards with the director and performers.
