Join us at Red River Theatres for a special screening of Being Heumann, the inspiring story of Judy Heumann, a trailblazing disability rights activist whose determination and leadership helped change the course of history. The film follows Judy's remarkable journey, from confronting discrimination as a young woman with a disability to becoming one of the most influential voices in the disability rights movement. At the heart of her story is the historic 1977 sit-in in San Francisco, when Judy and fellow activists fought for federal protections for people with disabilities, helping pave the way for lasting change.
