Being Heumann Special Screening

Inspired by disability rights activist Judy Heumann and the historic fight for disability equality, this film tells a story of courage, resistance, and the power of people working together to demand change.

This screening is an opportunity to experience that history on the big screen and bring our community together around the ongoing importance of accessibility, inclusion, and equal rights.

Presented by Utah Independent Living Center and Salt Lake Film Society, the screening will take place at Broadway Centre Cinemas on November 18 at 6:00 p.m. A reception begins at 5:00 p.m.
