Join a member of Bedgebury’s expert tree team for a guided walk exploring the living, working landscape of the National Pinetum.Discover the projects shaping this world‑class collection, learn about recent conservation successes, and hear what’s next in protecting threatened tree species. Along the way, gain insight into the skills and stories behind global tree conservation.

• Pre-booking is essential.
• Dogs are not permitted on guided walks (except assistance dogs).
• Car parking is not included unless you are a Forestry England member.
• Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the advertised start time.
• All walks are for ages 12+ with adult supervision, except for the Family Map Stick Walk which is for adults and children aged 3+. Maximum 3 children per adult.
• Dress for the weather with sturdy footwear, as walks are outside and do not always stay on paths.
• A survey will be sent to you after the event. You do not have to complete the survey, but doing so will help us when planning for future events.
Walk Information: Approximately 1.5 hours duration and 2.4 kilometres (1.5 miles) distance.
Ticket Price: All guided walks are £7 per person, excluding the Curator-led guided walk which is £15 per person.
Where to meet: Meet in the atrium at the Visitor Centre 10 mins before the start of the walk
Accessibility: Guided walks are mostly on hard-standing stone paths. However, some leave the main path and incorporate grassy and uneven terrain. To check a walk's suitability, email [email protected] or call 0300 068 0400.
