About this Event
The evening begins in St. Paul's at 5.00pm with Choral Evensong, an opportunity to hear the Cathedral's world famous choir. Once everyone has left the building, your guide will give you a private tour of the Cathedral to parts not usually open to the public. Your visit will begin by ascending the winding staircase to the Triforium, the gallery high above the nave. Highlights include the model of St. Paul's made by Sir Christopher Wren for King Charles ll, a copy of William Tyndale's 1526 Bible, one of only three in existence, and the 'Harry Potter' staircase. You will enjoy one of the most spectaular views of the cathedral and one that most visitors do not have the opportunity to see.
After the tour, we visit Temple Bar, Wren's smallest building and the last surviving gateway to the City of London for a talk on the building with drinks.
