About this Event
Go beyond the recycling bin and discover what really happens after we choose to recycle. At Cora Environment, participants step into Singapore’s recycling ecosystem to see how collected materials are recovered, sorted and transformed into valuable resources.
- Cora operates one of Singapore's three Material Recovery Facilities.
- This experience to visit the site becomes especially timely with Singapore’s Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS). Get to see how returned containers are brought to Cora’s dedicated counting and sorting facility, where technology separates plastics and metals and prepares clean material streams for recycling into new products.
- You will see the importance of how individual actions connect to an entire circular system – from returning one bottle correctly to recovering resources at scale.
More than a facility visit, it is an opportunity to understand why recycling right matters, how technology enables circularity, and how everyday choices can help reduce incineration, conserve resources and extend the life of Singapore’s landfill. Making Singapore a more resource-efficient nation.
