About this Event
At Sir Dervonshire Square, we continue our new series Behind the Pass. Hosted by acclaimed food critic and broadcaster Jimi Famurewa, each event brings together two leading voices from the world of food — chefs, restaurateurs, writers, critics or entrepreneurs — for an honest, generous conversation about what it really takes to build a life in food.
For the next in the series Jimi is joined by two of the most exciting chefs working today; Sally Abé and Kirk Haworth.
Sally Abé, formerly Head Chef at the Michelin-starred Harwood Arms, has become one of the UK’s most respected voices in modern British cooking. This month she opens her highly anticipated Hackney restaurant, Teal by Sally Abé, marking a bold new chapter in her career.
Kirk Haworth is the chef behind Plates, the first fully vegan restaurant in the UK to be awarded a Michelin star. His refined, produce-led cooking has redefined expectations of plant-based fine dining.
Behind the Pass is presented in partnership with Nordes Gin.
Tickets include a Nordes Gin cocktail.
