Inside the life of Elizabeth II
Monday 20th April 2026
6:00 -7:00pm
RSA House and online via YouTube
Acclaimed royal biographer Robert Hardman takes to the stage at the Royal Society of Arts for an intellectually curious evening exploring the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II.
The RSA has a distinctive bond with Her Majesty, who served as both President and Patron. In April 2026, to mark the centenary of her birth, we invite Hardman to draw on his unrivalled access to offer a subtle and revealing portrait of the woman behind the crown, guided by insights from his new book, ELIZABETH II.
The conversation will reflect on the Queen’s formative years, her leadership across a changing century, and her quiet but influential presence within the RSA.
An intimate discussion of duty, character, and history.
Speaker:
- Robert Hardman, Journalist, Author and Documentary Filmmaker
