Behind the Doors at Douglas City Hall

Step inside Douglas City Hall and explore its public spaces, including the Council Chamber, Committee Room and Mayor's Parlour. See the Letters Patent Presented by Queen Camilla in 2024 and learn more about Douglas's civic history and heritage. The event also offers bookable guided tours of lesser-known areas of City Hall, including the original fire station, drawing room, former library, caretaker's flat and basement.

Please be aware that the tour includes climbing stairs and standing for periods of time and as a result is not suitable for wheelchairs users and may be difficult for some visitors.

Dogs are not permitted on this tour.
