Hear from an inspector and builder about new construction inspections. Includes lunch, home tours & agent networking in Lawrenceville.Your buyer asks, “It’s brand new—do I really need an inspection?” How confidently can you answer?
Step inside the construction process at Behind the Build: A New Construction Lunch & Learn, an interactive, on-site experience for real estate agents who want to guide new-construction buyers with greater confidence.
Join us at Martin Springs by Meritage Homes in Lawrenceville to hear directly from a home inspector, get the builder’s perspective, and connect what you learn to the conversations you’re having with buyers.
From framing to finish, here’s what we’ll explore:
🏗️ Before the drywall goes up
Visit a home in framing with an inspector from Residential Inspector of America. Learn what a pre-drywall inspection covers, what inspectors look for, and why this stage matters to your buyers.
🔎 As the home nears completion
Explore a home closer to completion and learn about the final inspection process—including why buyers may want an independent inspection on a newly built home.
💬 The inspection report is in. Now what?
Hear from Meritage Homes’ construction manager about how the builder reviews and responds to inspection findings. Discuss how builder responsibilities and additional service requests are evaluated, and bring your questions.
🏡 Tour, connect, and create
Explore available floor plans, capture content for your business, network with fellow agents, and enjoy lunch provided by our sponsors.
Who should attend?
This experience is especially helpful for newer real estate agents, agents expanding into new-construction sales, and anyone who wants a stronger understanding of the inspection process and builder communication.
Come curious. Leave better prepared for your next new-construction buyer.
