About this Event
Most property tours show you finished homes on the market. This one doesn't.
Join me and a local builder for a morning inside three projects, across the Durham Region, that are actively under construction, and hear the real story behind each one: what it cost, what went wrong, and what they'd do differently.
The three stops:
1. The Flip. A house mid-renovation. See where the money goes, what adds value and what doesn't.
2. Multi-Unit Builds. Multiple units in progress, from framing to finishes. A close look at how density gets added.
3. The Townhouse Rescue. A 10-unit townhouse project whose original builder went bankrupt. The bank brought in a new builder to finish it. This is a rare look at what happens when a project fails, and how it gets back on track.
Who it's for: Homeowners thinking about renovating or adding a unit, buyers curious about new builds, investors, and anyone who likes seeing how things actually get built. No experience needed.
