Circus
In the world of music magazines a few come to mind: Rolling Stone, Creem, Hit Parader, and Circus were the most prominent in the 70's and 80's. Circus magazine started in 1966 and ran all the way to 2006 covering all the music of the time as well as containing great pictures, reviews, and interviews with the artists. Formed in 2010 with a passion for the music of the 1970's; we endeavor to capture the spirit of that magazine and provide our fans with a live concert experience that will bring back great memories for the folks that lived through the 70's and make the younger people wish they had! Comprised of veteran musicians each with 20+ years of performance experience, CIRCUS delivers faithful renditions of all aspects of 70's rock without the use of any backing tracks- from slower tunes to full out rockers covering the likes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Frampton, Queen, Traffic, Carly Simon, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Boston, The Who and more! CIRCUS also performs plenty of more 'epic' tunes that you would not expect and that few bands even attempt to cover. We guarantee to have you rocking out to the sounds that defined a decade and set the stage for generations of music lovers to follow! Heck, we might even drop your jaw a few times with a song you never expected to hear from a live band!
