This class will continue building confidence in machine piecing and quilting while helping students strengthen the basic skills introduced in beginning quilting. Students will practice accurate cutting with a rotary cutter, proper fabric preparation, consistent seam allowances, block construction, pressing techniques, and helpful tips for improving accuracy from start to finish. Throughout the class, students will gain a better understanding of fabric selection, layout, piecing, and quilting by machine, while learning practical techniques that make the quilting process more successful and enjoyable. This class is designed to help students feel more comfortable moving from the basics into the next step of their quilting journey. Students should be comfortable operating their sewing machine before class begins.
