Learn crochet in Enfield, Adelaide, at your own pace, with one-on-one help. Join any session, no fixed course.Hooked 'n' Loopy Fibre Arts runs beginner and continuing crochet classes at the Enfield Community Centre, 540 Regency Rd, close to Blair Athol, Prospect, Clearview, Kilburn, Greenacres, Hampstead Gardens and Gepps Cross.
Our self-paced lessons allow new students to join any time and attend either of our Enfield or Para Hills venues interchangeably. Pick up exactly where you left off each session. Every student gets one-on-one guidance throughout the 2.5-hour session.
How It Works:
New to crochet: Total beginners build confidence using 3 starter projects: a washcloth, a cozy beanie, and a stylish handbag.
Returning crocheters: Already know the basics? The class becomes an open session. I will introduce new stitches, guide you through pattern reading, and help you work on the projects of your choosing!
Who is this for? Absolute beginners, refresher crafters, and advancing beginners looking for a supportive local creative community.

When: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
During January 2027, some sessions (13th and 27th January) may move to another venue while the room we use is renovated. Booked students will be notified in advance. If the new venue doesn’t suit you, you can choose a full refund or a transfer to another session.
Class Size: Strictly limited to 7 spots per session.

Materials & Tools: Nothing to buy beforehand: yarn and a complete $10 starter kit are available from me on the night. If you'd prefer to bring your own:
10-ply cotton (e.g. Fiddlesticks Finch) or any 8-ply/DK yarn with a noticeable twist. Smooth, untwisted yarn is hard for beginners.
5mm and 6mm hooks

Your Instructor: I have over 35 years of crocheting experience and 10+ years of teaching. I focus on building your confidence while unlocking the mindful, stress-relieving health benefits of fibre arts.
