Beginner's Photography Class
Ready to learn more about your camera and get out of automatic exposure? Now is your chance! Join us for a beginner-friendly class in Downtown Boise where you'll learn the fundamentals of photography: exposure, aperture, shutter speed, and composition. Through hands-on practice and simple challenges, you'll gain the confidence to take creative control of your camera. Perfect for anyone new to photography or wanting to move beyond auto mode. Suitable for any camera with manual settings.
Please bring: your camera (any brand or type with manual settings is ideal), a fully charged battery, and a memory card with plenty of space. Wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking around downtown, and dress for the weather as October conditions can be unpredictable. We will meet in front of Boise Bobo at 212 N 9th St, right at the 9th Street entrance of Freak Alley, then photograph downtown architecture including landmarks like the Capitol Building before finishing back at Freak Alley. Arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time.
