A fused glass workshop aimed at beginners to introduce the fun of producing your own t-lights.
Beginners will be taught how to produce a fused glass tile using frit (crushed glass), stringers and how to cut base glass.
There will be 2 fused tiles produced which will be taken away , fused in a kiln and can then be collected from Midtown Makers when notified approximately a week later. Please feel free to bring a "simple" image for your second piece but images will be supplied for you to choose from.
All materials and tools will be provided including personal protective equipment. Googles MUST be worn at all times. Open toed sandals or shoes cannot be worn. Please wear clothes that you dont mind getting messy.
Remember glass is sharp and can cause cuts.
Refreshments are included - tea, coffee, juice and biscuits.
