Beginners Crochet Workshop Series
(In Person and Virtual Options Avaiable)

Ready to dive into the world of crochet? Join our Beginners Crochet Workshop Series! Whether you've never held a hook or just want to brush up on basics, this friendly class is perfect for you. You'll learn everything from making the basic stitches to creating simple projects.

Workshop Breakdown:

Class 1: Working in Rows (Washcloth)

Date: Thursday, September 10th

Time: 5:00-6:45

Learn how to make a slip knot, chain, single crochet and double crochet as we make a basic square together. This class will be a soft introduction to how to start and end a project and by the end of class, you should be confident enough to finish the project at home within the week. Bring your progress to the next class with any questions you have.

Class 2: Working in Rounds (Jar cozy)

Date: Thursday, September 24th

Time: 5:00-6:45PM

Master the technique of working in a round as we crochet a jar cozy or any size pouch of your liking. You will be intruduced to the skill of how to make increase and decrease stitches, and what they are used for. Bring your progress to the next class with any questions you have.

Class 3: Granny Square

Date: Thursday, October 1st

Time: 5:00-6:45PM

Learn how to make a classic granny square and turn it into a coaster, or create more squares after class and turn it into something else. In this class we will learn how to make a magic ring and you will be able to look through the granny square book to get inspirtion for more advanced granny square projects you can learn later.


Materials:

In Person- Materials will be included, but if you want to bring your own yarn and hooks, you are welcome to do so!

Virtual- Material list sent in advance, camera set-up should set up in a way to show your hands working so I can better assist you.


Location:

In Person- Ed's Mercantile, 605 Bloor Street West

Virtual- A zoom link will be sent to you before the class starts,


Investment:

In Person- $45 for a single class, $125 for the entire 3 part series.

Virtual- $25 for a single class, $65 for the 3 part series



Refund Policy:

Refunds are only available if requested 48 hours before the event starts. If you miss a class, you can always refer to the video recording to catch up, or join us online if you cant make it in person for some reason.


****Only sinlge class tickets are available through eventbrite, but If you wish to cotinue with the series , you can pay the remaining balance with Rebecca after class.
