About this Event
In a small group of 10 adults we'll be learning the basics:
- How to hold the yarn between your fingers
- Creating a slip knot
- Making a chain with chain stitch
- Double and treble crochet stitches
Some yarn and hooks will be available but if you have some already please do bring it with you in case we don't have enough.
This event is hosted by our volunteers. We're hoping there will be a left-handed crocheter to help those that need it.
These sessions will run roughly twice a month on the following dates:
12th Sept, 26th Sept, 3rd October, and 31st October.
Giving you the chance to practice between sessions.
At your first session we'll set up a Whatsapp group to keep members up-to-date.
Places are strictly limited. Please only book a place if you know you can attend and not to reserve a place just in case. Thank you.
There is no charge for these sessions. We hope you will enjoy yourself and get something from it. Donations are always welcome but this is not a requirement to come along, learn a new skill, and meet other people.
PLEASE NOTE The Lovely Little Tea Room are leaving us on 20th September. We're actively seeking a new operator. In the meantime you are welcome to bring your own drink and snack with you.
