About this Event
Join us at CRASH Space for a hands-on class to learn how to use power tools safely and the very basics of completing your own woodworking project. This class is open to all, no experience or membership necessary.
You'll walk away with a step stool you made yourself. All materials and PPE is provided.
To make the project, you will learn the ins and outs of a miter saw and band saw and can choose to try out the dremel and power drill.
Come ready to get a little dirty and learn something new! Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and have long hair tied back.
Why?
- Get tools in your hands and learn to use them safely with the resources to be independent and self-starting
- Make connections with others like you in. a judgement-free environment where its okay to make silly mistakes - you'll learn how to prevent making serious or dangerous ones
Attendees must only become CRASH Space members if they would like to continue to use the tools for their own projects in the future.
