Looking for a beginner DJ course in Vancouver? Pacific Sound DJ Academy’s Beginner DJ Foundations class is a 6-hour hands-on DJ training course for complete beginners and people with limited experience.
Learn the fundamentals of DJing in a small, hands-on beginner class with Pacific Sound DJ Academy.
This six-hour course is designed for people with little or no DJ experience who want to learn properly before investing in their own equipment.
You’ll work directly with professional DJ equipment while learning the core skills that every DJ needs, including music preparation, beatmatching, phrasing, cueing, transitions, EQ control and the basic workflow of a DJ controller.
All equipment is provided. You do not need to own DJ gear or have previous experience before attending.
To keep the class highly hands-on, enrollment is limited to only four students.
Beginner DJ Foundations is also the first step in the Pacific Sound DJ Academy training pathway. Students who want to continue developing their skills can later progress into our Intermediate Club DJ Training, where we introduce professional CDJ and mixer workflows.
