Beginner Balboa will be running Wednesdays 7-8PM, September 16th- October 21st.
Whether you’re stepping into Balboa for the first time or refining your fundamentals, this class offers a relaxed space to explore the beauty of close connection and elegant footwork.
No partner or prior experience is necessary. Comfortable indoor shoes are recommended. * Please note that this a closer connection style dance, comfort with a close embrace.

About Balboa: Originally a closed-position dance known simply as Balboa, it evolved to include dynamic swing moves, becoming Bal-Swing or California Swing. Its close embrace originated at the crowded Pavilion on the Balboa Peninsula in California, where dancers saved space by moving closer together. Balboa blends elegance, precision, and fast footwork, making it a must-try for any lindy hopper!
