Wordspace has checked our stash box and we're down to stems and seeds. So we're looking to refresh our dwindling resources the way we do best and we're having a party! Wordspace has been running since 1994 and we've produced literally thousands of programs featuring spoken word and performance. Check out the website: www.wordspace.org for our awesome history! We don't have any upscale CEOs or high salaried executives to feed so 90% of our budget goes to stipends and honorariums! For this benefit we'll have donated art work for sale with all proceeds going to Wordspace! Some of the artists we'll have up include Greg Cisneros, Brett Ardoin, Brian Scott, Brian Jones Dot Duvall, Randall Garrett, Courtney Googe. Kasey Jones Parker, Cynthia Ann Miro, Andy Don Emmons, Johnny O, Ant Colony, Suza Kanon, Steve Cruz, Matt Bagley and Benito Huerta! We also have a fulsome program with music from David Shannon. Cynthia Ann Miro and Harry McNabb, MH Clay and Greg Cisneros, Lily Taylor and Atom and EV! And spoken word with Johnny O, Priscella Rice, Tim Cloward, Josh Weir, Brenda Randall and Rosie Lindsey! Our host for the evening will be the Queen of Oak Cliff Poetics Opalina Salas! Free admission! Musical lineup and bios:

Atom & EV:
Dallas, TX three piece Avant-Rock band featuring original songs created by songwriting duo Alicia EV Borman (lyrics and melody, haunting vocals, electric bass) and Andy Borman (magical electric guitar hooks), supported by eclectic rotating drummers Stormi King and Terry McIntyre. Clever, quirky songs expressed through sultry vocals interwoven with melodic, sinewy guitar lines, underscored by non-traditional drums and bass guitar. Moody Rock for the lovelorn!
