Weekly Class
Mixed-level class designed to accommodate a variety of experience levels. Emphasizing an internal understanding of the yoga postures, these classes offer a practice to develop alignment flexibility, & strength. Increase your awareness of body & breath, and drop into deep relaxation.
Rental mats available if you do not have your own.
Yoga found Paola King unexpectedly in the shape of a door prize at a Military Function in February 2004. Paola got hooked the moment she stepped on that mat.
Due to the occupation of her husband, her family moved back and forth between the USA and Germany. As a result, Paola was introduced to different styles of yoga and teachers throughout the years.
In 2009 she decided to become a certified yoga instructor in vinyasa flow. She has since taught different levels of yoga from beginner to advanced, yoga for Irish tap dancers, postnatal yoga, and soft/gentle flow.
Even though Paola’s certification is in vinyasa flow, her teachings are strongly influenced by B.K.S Iyengar and Ashtanga. She teaches yoga classes to emphasize discipline and proper form, while also maintaining a sense of fun and lightness.
Paola continuously expands her education through workshops with national and international yoga teachers, while keeping her own practice ongoing.
