About this Event

Join the Alzheimer’s Association, The Family Album Company, and Virtual Time Capsule for an evening focused on preserving the stories and memories that matter most. Hear real stories, discover helpful resources, and learn simple ways to protect your family’s legacy.

Nearly half of Americans regret not recording family stories. This isn't about technology. It's about connection across generations, and this evening is your permission to start.

What If You Could Hear Their Voice Again?

Memories fade. Stories disappear. Voices are lost to time.

But they don't have to be.

This isn't a lecture. This is a community evening where we celebrate, preserve, and honor the memories that define your family. Whether you're holding onto old photos and wishing you could hear your grandmother's voice again, managing an aging parent, supporting a loved one with dementia, feeling isolated as a caregiver, or simply wanting to capture your family's wisdom before it's gone: this event is for you!

You're Not Alone In This!

We're reaching families across Chicagoland who are thinking the same things you are:

  • "I wish I had recorded that conversation..."
  • "These old photos are precious, but I don't know the story behind them, or how to preserve them..."
  • "My kids won't know these family stories if I don't pass them down..."
  • "I'm overwhelmed as a caregiver and regret not asdking earlier. Now I feel so isolated..."
  • "I want one simple place to start..."

You'll connect with others on the same journey. Ask questions. Explore local resources. And leave with practical tools to start immediately.
