About this Event
A community screening and conversation about perimenopause, menopause, and the experiences of Black women in midlife.
Too many women enter perimenopause and menopause without the information, resources, or support they need—and not every woman experiences this transition, or the healthcare system surrounding it, in the same way.
Join The Pause Collaborative for an evening of trusted information, honest conversation, and community. We'll begin with a film screening exploring the menopause experience, followed by a panel of local experts and advocates who will bring the conversation closer to home.
Together, we'll talk about what women are experiencing, what we know now, where gaps in care and understanding still exist, and how better information, resources, and support can help women move through midlife feeling more informed and empowered.
Whether you're navigating perimenopause or menopause yourself, supporting someone who is, working with women in this stage of life, or simply want to better understand this transition, you're welcome in the room.
Refreshments will be provided, along with door prizes generously donated by local sponsors.
Because women shouldn't have to figure out menopause on their own.
