Join us for a special Halloween edition of Beer & Bellydance as we transform Fortnight Brewing Company into an evening of mystery, music, and mesmerizing dance!We are excited to partner with Fortnight Brewing Company once again for Beer & Bellydance: The Witching Hour—a one-night celebration featuring live Middle Eastern music, captivating bellydance performances, and a touch of Halloween magic.
Costumes are encouraged for everyone, so come dressed as your favorite witch, vampire, mystical creature, or enchanted character. Please keep it family friendly, this event is open to the public.
🍴 FOOD TRUCK: Baton Rouge Food Truck 5-9pm
Please arrive early to grab dinner, enjoy a drink, and support your local businesses. The show begins at 8:00 PM.
Location: We will be on the Pub side of Fortnight Brewing. Enter through the side entrance. If you enter through the outdoor dining area via Terminal B, you can simply walk through to the Pub side.

PERFORMER INFO:
**This is a public event, Costuming and music must be family friendly.
~ Performers must arrive and check in with Amara by 7:30pm and be ready to dance when the show starts. Please be by the stage at least 2 songs in advance.
~ There will only be a total of 14 performance slots (7 per set). Once all slots have been filled, the show is full. If you arrive late, no performers will be added to the show once it starts.
~ You must sign up in advance and send your music via email. Walk in's are no longer accepted.
~ Please be respectful: Solo performers have 4 minutes max and groups 5 minutes max. If your song is longer, it will be faded out when the limit is reached. Less is more!
~ If you'd like to perform please plan to dress up or wear something more interesting than street clothes. This event helps promote our local bellydance community and we want it to feel like a Bellydance show. Appropriate attire is expected.
~ Performance, Music, and costuming must be family friendly. *No exceptions. This event is open to the public.
~ The lineup will now be made in advance. It will be based off music, props, dance style, group vs solo dancer. If you plan to perform in more than 1 group, please let Amara know in advance. No guarantees can be made on performance placement. Please be aware that the lineup will be arranged by music and dance style, so be mindful if you plan on performing twice. We reserve the right to limit multiple performances so that everyone gets a chance to perform.
~ All dancers dancing to live music will be placed in the 2nd set. All live music will perform prior to any recorded music in the 2nd set. It is preferred to let the band know in advance which song you want to dance to for live music so that it can be included in their set list.
~ DO NOT enter the performance area during someone elses performance .
~ No zilling or playing music during someone elses performance slot unless it has been agreed upon.
~ We reserve the right to remove or end a performance early if we deem it unprofessional or inappropriate for our show.
~ Finally if you have any doubt as to whether your performance would be appropriate for this Bellydance event, please send a clip of one of your past performances to me and I'll let you know.
**New performers MUST register in advance if they are interested in performing. No walk-in's.
MUSIC INFO:
~ Music must be sent in advance. Email an mp3 file, or a link to a downloadable audio file to: [email protected] at least 2 days before the show and make sure you get verification that it was received and able to be downloaded. This does not save your spot. You still need to arrive by 7:30pm to check in.
