John Acosta has performed as the Bee Gees’ lead singer, Barry Gibb, in Bee Gees tribute bands all over the world. His portrayal of Gibb is always delivered with a zest for detail. From the look to the falsetto, fans everywhere are able to close their eyes and swear they’re hearing the real thing.
Acosta’s band, Bee Gees Gold: The Tribute, is the ultimate salute, offering the experience of seeing the Bee Gees in their prime. With the meticulous vocal stylings of John Acosta (Barry), Eric Smearman (Robin), and Peter Sprague (Maurice) as the Brothers Gibb, there is a sensation that will make you blurt out, “Wow! I just saw and heard the Bee Gees!”
Backed by a live band, this Las Vegas-based Bee Gees tribute recreates the look and sound of the hugely successful musical trio from the 60s through the late 70s, with their unique falsettos that made them legends. The performers offer up such early hits as “Massachusetts” and “I Started a Joke” to their later disco-era classics “Stayin’ Alive,” “You Should Be Dancing,” and more!
