❤️ Bedford’s Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever ❤️As part of Bedford River Festival 2026
? Saturday 18th July 2026
? 12 Noon
? St Paul’s Square, Bedford
Bedford, it’s time to get dramatic!
Join us for Bedford’s first ever Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever – a joyful, inclusive mass dance inspired by Kate Bush’s iconic Wuthering Heights music video and the much-loved Wuthering events that take place around the UK and beyond every summer
Expect flowing red dresses, dramatic arm waving, laughter, music and a wonderful sense of community as we come together to create one of the most unforgettable moments of Bedford River Festival weekend.
The aim is simple:
❤️ Wear red
❤️ Learn a few moves
❤️ Join in
❤️ Have fun
No dance experience is required.
This is not a performance and there are NO auditions, NO judges and NO expectations. Whether you're a seasoned dancer, have two left feet, are eight or eighty, coming on your own or with friends, everyone is welcome.
We particularly encourage:
✨ Families
✨ Friends
✨ Community groups
✨ Schools and colleges
✨ Dance and theatre lovers
✨ Absolute beginners
✨ People who simply fancy doing something a little bit different
And yes...
? Dogs in red dresses are wholeheartedly encouraged too
We’ll be sharing dance tutorials, rehearsal opportunities, costume inspiration and event updates here in the lead up to the big day.
So start hunting for that perfect red dress, gather your fellow Cathys and and get ready to Wuther with us.
