Our November sketch meetup is at Bedford Rowing Club from where you can sketch possibly the most iconic view of Bedford towards St. Paul's square with the town bridge in the foreground and the church spire and crown court buildings in the background. You also have a great view over to the Swan Hotel and Castle Mound. Or you can sketch the distinctive Rowing Club building itself.If we get lucky with the weather, sit outside on the balcony. If not, you can sketch from the Rowing Club bar. If you're sketching from the balcony or inside the bar, please make sure you buy a drink or snack.
MEET: 10.30am outside Bedford Rowing Club
SKETCH: 10.30 - 12.30am
THROWDOWN: 12.30pm in Bedford Rowing Club Bar.
FACILITIES
There are customer toilets at the Rowing Club.
PARKING
Nearest paid parking is RCP Parking at Duck Mill Lane or you can park along the Embankment.

This is a volunteer led group and is not taught. It’s free to join in on any of our sessions. We’re open to all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own materials. We are the Bedford chapter of the global organisation https://urbansketchers.org who practice on location, observational drawing.
