Every pet deserves a chance. Every family deserves hope. And no one should have to face the heartbreak of an emergency veterinary bill while worrying about how they will afford to save a beloved member of their family.
Because of Toby Foundation was born out of love for a very special dog named Toby, whose story has touched our hearts and inspired a mission to help other families facing the unimaginable.
Toby is an older German Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix who has been a beloved part of our family. When Toby was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer, our world changed. Facing the uncertainty, difficult decisions, and emotional weight that come with a serious pet illness made us realize just how overwhelming emergency veterinary care can be. We also recognized that many families face these same challenges without the financial resources to pursue the care their pets desperately need.
We want to help change that.
Because of Toby Foundation is being created to help families facing unexpected veterinary emergencies by providing financial assistance when it matters most. Our hope is to ease the financial burden, give families more options, and help keep beloved pets where they belong: safe, loved, and surrounded by their people.
