About this Event
Because of Her is an intimate Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch created to honor, remember, and celebrate the women whose lives have been touched by Breast Cancer.
Whether she is currently fighting, a survivor, a caregiver, or a woman whose memory we carry in our hearts daily, this will be a space for love, hope, healing, worship, and connection.
Guests will experience a beautiful performance of worship by Pearl Duraisin, a powerful panel discussion by a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, a Licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, a Mother who has lost her Daughter to Breast Cancer, and a Daughter who has lost her Mother to Breast Cancer. We will also have an intimate but delicious Brunch surrounded by love and community.
Each woman will also have the opportunity to pick her own flowers to take home, beautifully wrapped with love, along with personal gifts prepared as a special reminder that she is seen, loved, remembered, and celebrated.
We will also honor one remarkable Woman whose story deserves to be celebrated and whose Breast Cancer journey represents the strength, courage, and beauty behind the women we gather for.
This event is deeply personal and was created in remembrance of my Mother, Adeline Duraisin, whose journey with Breast Cancer moved me to create a space where women can feel seen, loved, and remembered.
Because of Her, I am a Daughter.
Because of Her, I am Alive.
Because of Her, I am still Singing.
