The fourth seal is the shortest descriptor of the horsemen, and the only rider who is named. A pale horse. The color of a corpse. His name is Death, and Hell follows with him. Power is given over a fourth part of the earth, to K*ll with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Nothing new is introduced. The first three horses come due. Conquest, bloodshed, and scarcity finish in a name. The killing is measured. The authority is given. The Lamb is still the one opening the book.
