Join us at Urbanrest Brewery in Ferndale for a hands-on beauty class that brings together makeup, history, and civic engagement.
Professional hairstylist and makeup artist Avis Saunders of Mitten Maven Studio will teach you how to create a long-lasting red lip from exfoliation and hydration to choosing a flattering shade of red and locking in your finished look.
We’ll also explore the history of red lipstick as a form of self-expression and resistance.
Representatives from the League of Conservation Voters will be joining us to share information and answer questions, with additional voter engagement resources available from Shape Up the Vote.
