Beaujolais Nouveau with Chez Émilie at The Olive Branch

The first of four winter 'Chez Émilie' conversation socials at the brilliant Olive Branch Inn in Marsden, Huddersfield. We ring in the release of this year's Beaujolais Nouveau on the third Thursday of November, as per French tradition. A glass of this delicious red will be accompanied by the 'plat du jour' of bœuf bourgignon and pomme purée, all accompanied by French conversation and teaching from 'Émilie' at every level. Speakers and complete beginners welcome.

Ticket includes:

• A generous glass of 2026 Beaujolais Nouveau
• A 'plat fixe' of bœuf bourgignon & pomme purée
• Themed French conversation and teaching from experienced tutor Emily, who speaks fluent French with nearly 20 years' secondary teaching experience.
