MORE THAN AN EVENT... A COMMUNITY GATHERING.
Beat Freaq is back for our annual food drive, bringing together producers, artists, music lovers, and community members for an afternoon of beats, connection, and giving back.
This is what Beat Freaq is all about...creating space for creatives to connect, sharing music, building relationships, and using our collective energy to make a difference beyond the music.
Last year, our community went above and beyond with food donations. This year, we're challenging ourselves to do even more.
We're partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina to collect food for neighbors facing food insecurity. Bring a donation, bring a friend, and help us make this year's drive our biggest one yet.
WHAT TO BRING... OUR FOOD DRIVE WISHLIST
Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina identifies the following items among its most-needed donations:
• Canned fish or meat
• Peanut butter
• Canned low-sodium soups or stews
• Canned or dried beans
• Canned fruit packed in juice

Please choose nutritious, shelf-stable items whenever possible. Avoid glass containers when you can.

• Soap and body wash
• Shampoo and conditioner
• Feminine hygiene products... pads, tampons, and liners
• Travel-size hygiene kits

THE LEGION OF BOOM... BEAT FREAQ GENERALS
This gathering also marks a special occasion for Beat Freaq...the induction of our newest members into the Beat Freaq Generals, also known as the Legion of Boom.
The Legion of Boom is our elite producer team, a collective of creative forces who travel with us, perform beats, participate in beat battles, collaborate, and contribute to projects that move our culture forward.
Membership is about more than making great beats.
We recognize producers who combine musical talent with character, integrity, and a genuine commitment to community. Our Generals support one another, uplift fellow creatives, contribute to the wider music community, and understand that what we do together is bigger than any one individual.
This year's inductees are:
BLACKSMITH SUNDAYS
JECK DA GENERAL
STEPHEN LIFE
Join us as we recognize these producers and welcome them into the collective.
FEATURING THE LEGION OF BOOM
Drew Shamir
Manny Beats Chi
Keef Knoxx
DJ Wizdom

Come experience the beats, connect with the community, celebrate the next generation of Beat Freaq Generals, and be part of a gathering that puts music and service in the same room.
COME THROUGH. BRING FOOD. BUILD COMMUNITY.
Whether you're a producer, an artist, a longtime Beat Freaq supporter, or somebody who simply believes in showing up for the community, there's a place for you here.
