Join us for a night of ritual, story, music and damhsa. Bealtaine is a time of fecundity. The strengthening sun awakening and revitilzing life within. In Ireland at this time, we celebrate the Bainis righe, the Sacred marriage of Eriu and Amairgin. The mysteries teach that by embodying the sacred feminine and the sacred masculine we come into right relationship and alignment within ourselves and our environment, and become the very changes we wish to see in world. It is a time where momentum and resources are readily available. Where we can identify the seeds that our inner worlds have been gestating in the darker months and enter now into relationship with our environment to plant these seeds in fertile soil and take action to bring them to life.It is a time of rising energies, of passion, fertility, virility, a time of fire. We will work with the element of fire to cleanse, free and release that which no longer serves us, and harness the energy to give life to the new paths and projects we are creating. We will gather beneath the sacred Hawthorn tree, and work with her wisdom and heart medicine. We will gather at the faerie tree (across from the playground) on Killiney hill at 18.30pm, for meet, great and cleansings. Ritual will commence at 7pm. When we are sufficiently radiant, glowing and sacred, and we will head around the corner to Killiney Castle for 20.30 to be serenaded by the sensational, scintillating, sprightly Kíla.Dress in your Summer Finery, give yourself permission to shine!
