An open, perceptive gaze shapes the clown's outlook on life. With loving curiosity, he experiences the diversity of human encounters. Living in the magical world of the moment, the clown is completely absorbed by the little things, welcoming everything that is. By experiencing poetic or catastrophic adventures on stage, he tickles our funny bone! The clown's naiveté invites us to rediscover the world by approaching it without prejudice or preconceived notions. The red nose transforms the performer, giving space to creativity and allowing our imagination to take flight. With "the smallest mask in the world," he can simultaneously reveal himself, conceal himself, and surrender to spontaneity.
In this 2-days workshop, we will practice becoming more attuned to our partner and the audience, as well as to the images, stories, and characters that emerge during improvisations on stage. Theatrical techniques and exercises will lead us to focus on body language and emotional expression, social structures and relationships in two-person improvisations.
A warm invitation to light days of fun, letting go, and freeing up.
