Be Worth Funding® Bootcamp 2027Mindset. Mission. Money.
The 2nd Annual Be Worth Funding® Bootcamp is returning to Birmingham, Alabama, on January 8, 2027, for a full day of practical nonprofit development, funding strategy, and hands-on work designed to help organizations become more competitive for funding.
Because here’s the truth: Getting funded and staying funded isn’t just about finding grants or writing better proposals. It’s about building an organization that has the capacity, credibility, programs, systems, and strategy to attract, manage, and sustain funding.
And that’s exactly what we’re working on at Bootcamp!
Led by nonprofit strategist and consultant Ty Boone, this experience goes beyond traditional nonprofit training. We’re bringing nonprofit leaders together to examine their organizations, strengthen their funding strategies, and do the work that often gets overlooked in the pursuit of grants.
WHAT TO EXPECT
💚 MINDSET: Challenge the thinking, habits, and practices that keep nonprofits operating in survival mode. Experience Unraggedy Nonprofit™ LIVE, where we’re having real conversations about the realities of nonprofit leadership.
💛 MISSION: Examine your organization’s programs, impact, effectiveness, and organizational capacity. Learn what it takes to demonstrate that your work is needed, meaningful, and worthy of investment.
💰 MONEY: Move beyond chasing grants! Explore funding diversification, financial sustainability, funder expectations, and strategies for positioning your organization to pursue funding opportunities more competitively.
THIS IS A WORKING BOOTCAMP!
Every attendee will receive the exclusive Funding Field Guide™, a practical workbook designed to help you assess your organization, identify funding priorities, and develop actionable strategies.
Expect hands-on activities, real conversations, practical guidance, and opportunities to work through challenges facing your organization.
We’re not assigning a bunch of homework for you to figure out later. We’re doing meaningful work IN THE ROOM!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This Bootcamp is designed for nonprofit founders, executive directors, board members, program leaders, church and community development leaders, and others responsible for building and funding mission-driven organizations.
Whether your nonprofit is newly established, growing, mature, or trying to regain momentum, there’s work to be done!
