Recreate the magic of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood of Make-Believe at Be My Neighbor Day!
The annual celebration of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood will return with hands-on activities throughout the Minnesota PBS Studios in Lowertown St. Paul. It will be a "tigertastic" time - you won't want to miss it!
Move through the event to enjoy fun activities and a meet & greet with Daniel Tiger!
This sensory-friendly time slot will include a lower level of music and lights along with a relaxed, low-pressure opportunity to meet Daniel Tiger. In addition to our sensory-friendly timeslot, a quiet room will be available the full day.
Enjoy a variety of activities:
- Meet Daniel Tiger from the popular PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.
- Engage in unique, interactive activities at the Mobile Learning Adventure, supported by PNC Grow Up Great.
- Make something to say thank you to our neighborhood helpers.
- Enjoy other hands-on activities from local community partners.
- Explore the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with interactive sets.
- Watch an episode of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.
- Enjoy free snacks and beverages.
- And so much more!
The sensory friendly timeslot allows 55 minutes on the main activity floor and 30 minutes in our Street Space with our movement and snack sponsors.*
Ways to get to Minnesota PBS:
Metro Transit: Taking Metro Transit to Be My Neighbor Day is an excellent choice! Check back as the event gets closer for a link to a free ride pass.
Parking: Parking is available for a fee in the Lowertown Ramp, which is accessible from both Jackson Street and Sibley Street. The ramp is connected to the Minnesota PBS Studios, and guests should take the elevator to Level K (skyway level) to check-in at our registration area.

Important notes:
- Please let families that need sensory-friendly support sign up for these designated timeslots (3 pm on Friday & Saturday).
- In addition to our sensory-friendly timeslot, a quiet room will be available each full day.
- All attendees must register for a specific time to attend this event.
- Maximum of six tickets per registration.
- Please register kids and adults separately.
- Each timeslot allows 55 minutes on the main activity floor and unlimited time in our Street Space with our movement and snack sponsors.*
- If possible, please leave strollers and wagons in the car.
- Space is limited for this event, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- As a charitable contribution, your donation is non-refundable.
*Final timeslot of the day allows 30 minutes in our Street Space.
