About this Event
Make a mask. Build a kit. Send a little of you across the miles.
Miles don't have to mean missing out. In this hands-on workshop for grandparents, especially those who live far from their grandchildren, you'll create your own mask, then turn what you learn into a mask-making kit to mail or share with your grandchild.
Your grandchild opens a package and discovers a project they can do and possibly share with you on a video call, a moment that makes you more than a face on a screen.
In this workshop, you will:
- Make your own one-of-a-kind creative mask
- Assemble a mailable mask-making kit for your grandchild
- Leave with a ready-to-share idea for playing together, near or far
No art experience needed. Bring your imagination and your grandchild in your heart. We'll provide [materials / guidance].
This is the second workshop in a series designed to help grandparents stay connected in creative, joyful ways.
Spots are limited. Reserve yours today. Not a grandparent? We won't check IDs. Anyone who loves a faraway kid (and likes glue) is welcome.
