An unexpected BCMA take on the story we all know about Cinderella & her Stepsisters, taking us beyond the ball to discover what really happens after the “happily ever after.”Stepsisters’ Lament explores the story beyond the fairy-tale ending, delving into identity, family, jealousy, resilience, sisterhood and the courage to choose your own path.
Through music, dance and storytelling, we discover that perhaps “happily ever after” isn’t a destination at all. It isn’t somewhere you arrive; it is something you are able to choose, and something you journey through.
