Attendees self-assess their current habits: fertilizer brand and frequency, whether they fertilize before rain, how close to the water's edge, pet waste routine, pesticide use, and percentage of lawn vs. native plantings. We will walk through the newly installed rain garden sponsored by Tampa Bay Estuary Program via the Bay Mini Grant from the Tarpon Tags.
The garden is semi shaded but dress to be outdoors and bring water to stay hydrated.
This workshop is free to the public thanks to the Bay Mini Grant from the Tampa Bay Estuary Program. Reservation still required to get accurate head count.
