About this Event
Join us for the next Bay Area Immersive Theater Maker Gathering, a community conversation focused on the performer’s perspective in immersive, site-specific, and audience-interactive work.
We’re bringing together a small group of Bay Area performers for a moderated roundtable about the craft and experience of immersive performance. We’ll talk about devising and building roles, working in close proximity to audiences, improvisation and audience interaction, navigating boundaries and unpredictability, and what makes performers excited to say yes to a project.
After the roundtable, we’ll open the conversation up to the room for questions, discussion, and connection with other artists working in and around immersive performance.
