Bay Area Excursion: High Tea & "Into the Woods"
Wednesday, December 3
10:15am-5:45pm

( See "Expected Excursion Timing" below)

Kick-off the holiday season by joining James Sokol for a delicious and delightful afternoon in San Francisco!

Either board our private coach in Marin or make you way to the city for high tea at the charming tearoom Son & Garden. Enjoy an array of savory finger sandwiches, delicious scones, and sweet desserts in a themed setting.

Next, head to SF Playhouse and take your Orchestra seat for the matinee of Stephen Sondheim (music & lyrics) and James Lapine‘s (book) beloved musical gem Into the Woods.

This 1988 classic weaves the tales of beloved storybook characters – the baker and his wife’s tribulations to have a child, Cinderella’s quest for love, and Jack’s journey up the beanstalk to giant-slaying fame – all to create a rich blend of humor, heartache, and unforgettable melodies.

This “musical theater masterpiece” reveals that even the most familiar stories hold unexpected twists and profound lessons.

Winner of three 1988 Tony Awards including “Best Original Score” and “Best Book,” critics have called the show, “A funny, insightful, and thrilling story about life and death and all that’s waiting along the way.”

Space is strictly limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
