Little ghosts and ghouls will go batty for our latest FREE October half term event! Who fancies a walk in the dark to see if you can spot real-life bats?
Did you know there are 17 species of these flying critters found in the UK – and you can spot 13 of them in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
We are delighted to join forces with South East Wales River Trust to offer a bat walk on October 27.
Come and have a go at our bat detectors to find out which species of bats are living in Rhondda Heritage Park Museum and near the river.
The short, leisurely walk and talk runs from 4.30pm to 7pm.
Dress warm, bring a torch and a flask with a hot drink if you like.
Spaces are limited to 20 people only. The event is free but must be booked online on our website here:
