About this Event
You've had the moment. The motivated Monday. The inspired conversation. The goal you set with absolute certainty.
And then life happened. The alarm went off. The old patterns kicked in. By Wednesday, the feeling was gone. By Friday, you couldn't even remember what you were so fired up about.
This isn't a discipline problem. It's a frequency problem.
The shift was never the hard part. STAYING SHIFTED is the hard part. Because your old self - your old habits, your old beliefs, your old identity - pulls you back every single day. And without something holding you in place, it always wins.
This BASZO Roundtable goes deep on ONE question: why does motivation fade — and what actually works instead?
We'll explore:
→ Why willpower runs out (and what replaces it)
→ The difference between motivation and identity (one fades, the other doesn't)
→ Why your old self always fights back after a breakthrough
→ What a daily practice does that a single conversation never can
→ How I stayed shifted through clearing £25K debt, running a half marathon, and quitting my corporate career — on the same salary, with the same 24 hours
HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS:
We sit around a table—coffees in hand. Bruno opens with one question — then we go around the room. Everyone shares. Everyone listens. We challenge each other's thinking. We hold up a mirror. And we leave seeing something we couldn't see when we walked in.
People keep coming back — and they keep bringing friends.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
→ You're ambitious but feel stuck in the same cycle
→ You're in a career that pays the bills but doesn't fulfil you
→ You know there's more to life than what you're currently living
→ You want to be around people who think bigger than your current circle
→ You're ready to be challenged — honestly and without judgement
THIS IS NOT:
✗ A seminar or workshop
✗ A sales pitch for anything
✗ A place to network for business cards
✗ Somewhere you sit and listen to a speaker
This is a conversation. The kind you wish you had more often with the right people.

ABOUT THE HOST:
Bruno is a young Portuguese-British creator, coder, trader, hybrid athlete, Kizomba dance instructor, event organiser, and founder of BASZO. After 6 years in banking, he's stepping away from corporate life to build a life of purpose — through coaching, content, community, and faith.
He ran the Manchester Half Marathon in 1:50. He's hosted 3 roundtables that have grown from 7 to 12 people per event. He teaches weekly Kizomba dance classes and runs monthly events for 100-150 people. He's currently coaching clients and documenting the entire journey on social media.
He's not a guru. He's a young man who decided to stop waiting for permission and start building. And he wants to help you do the same.
